This is a timing system consisting of innovative Wi-Fi-based SR laser gates and local data and communication centers. Compared to other similar systems—such as infrared, ultrasonic, or magnetic sensors—it enables more accurate timing and real-time communication with the web server. SR laser gates are durable, very easy to set up, and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The advantage of the SR TIMING SYSTEM over other similar systems— in addition to extremely precise timing technology—is its quick and easy installation and cost-effective operation. The devices run on high-performance rechargeable batteries, and a protective carrying/storage case is included as part of the system. The SR timing system can be used both indoors and outdoors and does not require any investment in infrastructure .

The central unit of the SR TIMING SYSTEM is the SR1 CENTER, which acts as a communication hub and performs multiple functions:
- ensures data and information flow between the SQL server and the laser modules;
- based on SQL server settings, parameterizes the laser modules for the selected measurement tasks/exercises;
- controls switching the modules on and off;
- collects and transmits the data recorded by the laser modules to the SQL server in real time via an internet connection, enabling processing by SRD LAB diagnostics;
- in the event of a network communication error, transmits measurement data later as well, eliminating the possibility of data loss;
- identifies athletes performing exercises before the given exercise begins.
A given SR1 CENTER is simultaneously connected only to the laser modules that monitor the given exercise; therefore, measurement results are recorded in the correct place.
Devices are marked with the capital letters of the Latin alphabet (A, B, C…), making them easy to distinguish when setting up the system. The number of exercises that can be performed with the SR system depends on the number of Center units. For each Center, based on the server’s primary allocation, up to a maximum of 6 laser modules can connect automatically according to exercise requirements—enabling the measurement of multiple split times.
SR Mini Center
A fully featured central unit equivalent to the SR1 Center. It is primarily used for athlete registration and for exercises performed with the force platform.
The SR L modules (marked with Arabic numerals) are laser-technology gates. They detect an athlete passing through when the laser beam is interrupted. Measurement results are stored securely until they can be transmitted to the SR1 Center, so a connection interruption cannot result in data loss.
Each module is also equipped with an LED light strip that, in certain special exercises, provides random red or blue light signals to the athlete. The light strip can also be used to indicate system-status information and is capable of displaying millions of colours.
The module also contains a miniature speaker which assists the athlete during correct execution of exercises using pre-programmed machine voice signals.
Force Platform
Used to measure centre-of-mass rise and the strength of the lower limbs, enabling determination of average, rapid, and maximal forces. The device can be operated via the SR Mini Center through a USB cable connection.
